A press release has been issued on the joint research between Shibaura Institute of Technology, Constec Co., Ltd and our LCE Lab from Tohoku University. This is an attempt to measure rebar corrosion, moisture content, and other deteriorations in reinforced concrete structures non-destructively using sub-THz waves.
