The past three months have been an exceptionally vibrant period for our lab, marked by meaningful international collaborations and academic exchanges.
Since December, we have had the pleasure of hosting several visiting researchers from around the world:
Prof. Joseph Mwiti Marangu (Meru University of Science and Technology, Kenya)
Prof. Faiz Uddin Ahmed Shaikh (Curtin University, Australia)
Mr. Joseph Pugh (PhD candidate, Cardiff University, UK)
Prof. Daria Jóźwiak-Niedźwiedzka (IPPT PAN, Poland)
Although their stays were staggered, each contributed unique perspectives to our research community. As we bid them a warm farewell, we are equally excited to welcome new faces. Dr. Muhammad Arslan Ahmad joined us this month as a JSPS Fellow, and in April, our team will expand further with a new Master’s student from India and a long-term visiting student from Taiwan.
Combined with our graduating and new-joining students, this season marks a beautiful cycle of growth and global connection. We look forward to the innovative work this diverse team will achieve together!
