"Kids on Site Project" at the Sendai City Hall reconstruction site

"Kids on Site Project" has been featured on Tohoku University's global website as part of its science outreach activities.

The project transforms an active construction site into a place where children can observe, explore, and learn about how cities and buildings are created. Rather than simply explaining construction, we encourage children to see, touch, ask questions, and discover things for themselves.

Since opening this spring at the Sendai City Hall construction site, the project has welcomed hundreds of children and families. It has been inspiring to see many young visitors return again and again, developing their own curiosity about construction, engineering, and architecture.

This project would not be possible without the collaboration of many partners, including Sendai City, the Obayashi JV team, students, and numerous supporters.

Thank you to Taylor and the Tohoku University communications team for highlighting our work.
