Participation in JCI 2025 (Morioka)

7月16～18日に盛岡で開催された日本コンクリート工学年次大会2025（盛岡）に参加しました。

The Japan Concrete Institute Annual Conference 2025 (Morioka) was held in Morioka, Japan, 16-18 July.

ライフサイクル工学研究室からは、小山顕さん（M2）、上谷幸太郎さん（M1）、國生梨花さん（M1）の3名が学会発表を行い、小山さんが見事、年次論文奨励賞を受賞しました！

論文題目は「深層学習を利用したサブテラヘルツ波によるコンクリート内部の鋼板および鉄筋のかぶり厚さの予測」です。

From LCEL, three members, Ken Koyama (M2), Kotaro Uetani (M1) and Rika Kokusho (M1), presented at the conference and Ken was awarded the annual paper encouragement award!

The title of the paper is 'Prediction of cover thickness of steel plates and reinforcing bars inside concrete by sub-THz waves using deep learning'.

また、年次大会で開催されたキングオブコンクリート2025にも参加しました。

今年のテーマは「コンクリート楽器」でした。ライフサイクル工学研究室からは、伊藤尚哉さん（B4）、大倉一慶さん（B4）、山本俊大さん（B4）の3名が「コンクリートフルート」を作製して現地で演奏し、総合3位に加えて盛岡カイハツコンクリート株式会社賞もいただきました！

We also participated in the King of Concrete 2025, which was held at the annual conference.

This year's theme was 'Concrete Instruments'. From LCEL, Naoya Ito (B4), Ikkei Okura (B4) and Syunta Yamamoto (B4) built a 'concrete flute' and performed on site, winning the Corporate Prize in addition to third place overall!
